SACSA Carnival Sport

About SACSA Sport

King’s competes in the South Australian Christian Schools Association (SACSA) competition, along with 33 other member schools. SACSA often compliments the teaching provided during PE lessons and provides students with an opportunity to compete at an elite level.

There are 10 sports carnivals each year. Students in Year 3-Year 12 can nominate to be selected for a team, attend trials and training (if selected).

Students enjoy representing the King’s Community with their school peers as they compete in each carnival against other Christian schools.

Trial Information

The PE Faculty administers trials approximately four weeks prior to the carnival date. Information flyers advertising dates will be put up in the Gym foyer and on our website. Any interested students are required to sign-up via a link that is communicated to them via SEQTA (Year 3-Year 4 students sign-up via their PE teacher). A minimum of two trials will be held prior to selecting teams and training will be scheduled weekly until the competition dates.

If your child is interested in trialing for a sport, but is absent due to a family holiday or illness, please email sport@kingsbaptist.sa.edu.au. A student must attend at least one trial to be considered for a SACSA team.

The trial and training sessions below are held during lunch time (unless otherwise specified).
