Music at King's

King’s is blessed with a very talented and dedicated team of instrumental music teachers. Staff inspire their students to improve and enrich their students’ knowledge and understanding of music from the perspective of their chosen instrument. In addition to enriching students' personal growth and interests, the Instrumental Program also strongly supports the music curriculum, particularly in the Senior School.

Our teachers work with a specific focus on the technical aspects of the instrument which, in turn, increases the students’ rate of progress. As a result this also teaches students the importance of commitment, being rewarded with the fruits of their labour! By encouraging students to participate in performance opportunities provided by King’s (such as Recital Nights and community events), students develop a greater confidence and more robust performance technique.
