A-Z Gratitude List
30 July 2021

During lockdown, our Middle School students were encouraged by their Pastoral teachers to take care of themselves not only physically, but mentally as well. As part of this, students were encouraged to write an A-Z list of all the things they are grateful for. Year 7 student, Annika F shared her heartwarming A-Z Gratitude List, which we are happy to share with our King's Community...

A-Z list of things I am grateful for:

Ayers Rock- our national monument

Bored-ness- it drove me to do something

Care- from our families

Dogs- they are great companions

Excellence- putting in the best I have

Friends- give me support

Growth- growing bigger by the day

Happiness- our best way to live

Integrity- the quality of being honest

Jumping- exercise that somehow releases happy endorphins

Kids- we were all one and I’m thankful for a happy childhood

Life- the gift of being able to serve God and live your way

More- we all ask for it but I am grateful for what I do have

Nation- we live in a great, safe and secure country

Options- we can choose what we do in life

People- the great people around me

Questions- I can ask them when I need to

Respect/Rights- I have it and always will

Service- to help when I can

Treating others the way I want to be treated

Universe- God's powerful creation

Venturing- I can find amazing places

World- our continuously growing society

Xylophone- exotic instruments and the chance to play them

You- a constant way to control me

Zeal- continuous passion for God
