In Cooking with Passion this semester, students have been celebrating Australia’s multicultural society. Each week, they have learnt about a wide variety of cultural cuisines and how they use ingredients differently to create signature dishes. For the ‘Food Truck’ assessment, students worked in small groups to select a country which has formed part of our multicultural society and create a meal that accurately and respectfully showcased their chosen country's cultural cuisine. Additionally, they made cardboard ‘Food Trucks’ that represented their country. In Week 3, students had the opportunity to share their journey with the teachers, inviting them to attend their ‘Food Truck Festival’ to taste the wonderful meals they had prepared.
