On Wednesday, the Year 8s had their highly successful Market Day/Carnival during Pastoral.
The students were involved in handmaking items or developing a game of chance to fundraise for Transform Cambodia. There was a huge amount of energy in the lead up to the event and the day was so much fun. Students had created games like fishing for rubber ducks, bean bag throw, nerf gun shooting galleries, pie face and shooting hoops. There were also incredible handmade products such as lip balms, loom band jewellery, posters and bookmarks.
Our focus was to raise money to contribute to the Christmas hampers for all of the families at the King’s Friendship Centre in Cambodia, and with a total of $1,101 raised, I think you will agree, the event was an incredible success.
