Make Music Day is a celebration of music around the world, held on 21st June. Launched in France in 1982 as the Fête de la Musique, Make Music Day is now held on the same day across more than 1,000 cities in 120 countries.
Completely different from a typical music festival, Make Music Day is open to anyone who wants to take part. King's utilised the Pink Assembly on Monday to celebrate this day, with two groups performing to the entire school. The Concert Band played High Hopes, and the Wind Dances and Senior Strings played Lord of the Dance.
