Welcome to 2022
While the commencement to our new academic year has been far from what we expected, I am pleased that it seems to have been purposeful and smooth. I am appreciative of the efforts of all our dedicated staff who have worked tirelessly to prepare both face to face and online lessons, to move buildings (yes, the Middle School Building - Stage 1 is open) and launch the year in such a positive way.
I particularly wish to thank the students who, despite the inconvenience and irritation of wearing face masks, have remained positive and continue to do this in the interest of ensuring as safe a workplace for our students AND our staff as we can create.
To our new families - welcome. I trust that during this interesting start you have felt welcomed into our community and that you are beginning to feel at home.
Finally, I welcome several new staff to our teaching team. Again, it has been challenging for our new staff, but I have been buoyed by their dedication and the enthusiasm with which our existing staff have welcomed them and shown them the ropes (nautical analogy!).
Please join me in welcoming:
