You're Invited: Reception Parent Connection Evening
31 Jan 2024

Dear Parents and Caregivers of Reception students,

We hope that your Reception child is having a positive start to the week and is settling comfortably into their new classroom environment.

Whether you are entering the School community for the first time or have experienced the Reception year before, we are eager to foster a sense of community and connection among our Reception parents. We believe in building a supportive network as you embark on this shared journey over the coming years.

To facilitate this connection, we invite you to join us and other Reception parents for an informal evening of wine, cheese, and soft drinks. This parent-focused event provides an opportunity to connect and engage with fellow Reception parents and to meet the pastoral care couples assigned to each Reception House Group.

Our pastoral care couples are dedicated to supporting parents and look forward to journeying with you throughout the year. The Wine, Cheese and Soft Drink Evenings will be held in the King’s Community Centre on the following two dates:

  • Brimblecombe and Warren: Monday, 26 February from 7:30pm-9:00pm (Term 1, Week 5)
  • Baldock and White: Wednesday, 28 February from 7:30pm-9:00pm (Term 1, Week 5)

You will have received an email informing you which House Group you are part of, which indicates the specific evening you should attend.

We are excited about the prospect of meeting each of you and building connections within our school community.

Warm regards,

Paul and Bec Drury,
Pastors to School Families
