CareLink Christmas Hampers FUNDraising Assembly
5 Nov 2021

Once again, the King’s Community has shown it's generosity through giving to the CareLink Christmas Hamper Appeal.

This morning, students from ELC to Year 11 gathered in the Gym, bringing the bags that classes had packed over the last few weeks. Students carrying bags laden with all kinds of delicious goodies was a wonderful sight!

Our combined choirs led the whole school in singing two Christmas carols and the Middle School Student Leaders helped us understand the need for hampers through a drama they wrote. George, in the role of the ‘CareLink Christmas Angel’, was a highlight, as he explained how the bags came about. He also signed the small wooden angels that had been hidden around the school and found by students.

Kat, from CareLink, was presented with the bags and she spoke about how important it is for us to bless families who are doing life tough at the moment.

Thank you to Mithusha and Chloe, our 2022 Head Prefects, who lead the Assembly and the other new Prefects for supporting the Middle School drama.
