As you would no doubt be aware, the Premier of South Australia has announced that from 6pm tonight, we are in a state-wide lockdown for seven days.
As a result, King’s will not commence face-to-face learning until Wednesday, 28 July (at this stage) and our holiday period will be extended for the rest of this week. Online learning programs will be available from Monday, 26 July via King’s @ Home.
Parents of Reception-Year 2 students will be contacted by classroom teachers.
Year 3-Year 5 students who are unable to access King’s @ Home should contact their Classroom Teacher.
Children (Reception-Year 7), where both parents are essential workers, can access care at the Keithcot King’s OSHC. If you are already enrolled in OSHC, please book via the app for a pupil free day.
If you are not currently enrolled, please go to the Keithcot King’s OSHC website and click on the 'Enrolment' button on the right-hand side. This will take you to another page; click on the 'https' link at the top of the page, which will take you to the registration site and the bookings will be available under 'Pupil Free Day'. There will be no cost for this service.
OSHC is open from
7:00am-6:00pm. Please send your child(ren) with a water bottle, recess, lunch
and warm clothing. On arrival, you are required to provide proof that
you are an essential worker (an ID badge will suffice).
Although we find ourselves in difficult circumstances, we encourage you to approach this time with calm and allow family times to be rich and nurturing. Perhaps you can enjoy time together playing board games, creating artworks, reading, watching movies or cooking?
Information about events beyond Tuesday, 27 July will be communicated to you early-next week as further information becomes available.
As always, we are here to support you and your family. If you have any questions please email via Glyn.Price@kingsbaptist.sa.edu.au .
May you sense God’s presence, love and peace.
