On Sunday, 1 August, a number of our Year 8 and Year 9 students participated in the Salisbury Council’s '10,000 Trees' event. The project aims to green up the popular Little Para River corridor. The students involved were working on the service aspect of their Duke of Edinburgh Award, and it was great to see these students embracing environmental service.
Year 9 student, Annika P said of the event, ""I really enjoyed taking part in the '10,000 Trees' planting event. I haven't been involved in a project like this before and I didn't realise how much joy it would bring me to be a part of regenerating this area in Salisbury."
