Mt Barker Campus

Expected to open in 2023

We are delighted to announce King’s Baptist will be offering a new campus and give families in the Adelaide Hills the same learning opportunities enjoyed by current King’s students.

King’s Baptist Mt Barker has purchased five hectares of land on Bollen Road in the Newenham development. In association with Burke Urban and Mount Barker District Council, we will deliver a new King’s to serve this growing community and give families in the Adelaide Hills choice, diversity, and quality learning so they and their children can flourish.

A school in partnership with a church is the way we have sought to serve and bless this community since we started in 1983. We trust and pray this new opportunity will bless the Mount Barker community.

For any enrolment queries please contact Sue Pryzibilla on sue.pryzibilla@kingsbaptist.sa.edu or complete the form below.

Why Mt. Barker?

With improved access to, and from, the Adelaide CBD suburbs like Mount Barker, Littlehampton, and Nairne have experienced enormous interest, particularly from families. Mount Barker is expecting population growth of just over 20,000 over the next 20 years.

Why Newenham?

Four sites were considered and Newenham was identified as the best choice due to its availability, size and location, proximity to land earmarked for ovals and recreation, and the strong community fit for an Independent School like King’s. A new School is a key element of the community infrastructure of the Mount Barker Western Precinct.

When will the school open?

King’s Baptist Grammar School Mount Barker plans to open in 2023, initially with ELC to Year 2 classes and a Community Centre. We plan to extend the Junior School by one year level each year and commence Middle Schooling in 2029 and Senior School in 2033. The first group of Year 12 students will graduate in 2035.
