Parents & Friends

Building, Serving & Valuing Community

We believe that friendship, respect, and participation are central to a positive learning environment. When your child joins King’s so do you. We welcome your entire family into our community.

Together, we are King’s.

We exist because our community, parents just like you, wanted a school like King’s Baptist Grammar School. Many of our families say they chose King’s because of how we make them feel – the warm actions, selfless gifts, altruistic endeavours and kind words. They entrust their children to us safe in the knowledge that King’s provides a secure, supportive environment for all students.

The P&F members are a dedicated group of parents who volunteer their time and talents to serve the King’s Baptist Grammar School community and to assist with fundraising. The P&F foster a community that encourages, supports, and cares for each other, as well as pooling together the individual gifts and talents so that we can serve together and learn from each other.

Please email our P&F if you would like further information or would like to become a member of the P&F.

Dinner is Served

Dinner is Served is a wonderful meal program, run by the King's P&F, to support and care for our King's families. A homestyle meal is provided to families in times of need, whether that be a new baby, a broken bone, family sickness, bereavement or a time of stress.

How does it work?

The P&F receive information from a staff member or a parent that a family would benefit from a meal. Dinner (and recess for the student where possible) is cooked or purchased and then Student Services will notify the family and arrange delivery or collection.

Meals are cooked and donated by our King's Community members or purchased via donations from Parents & Friends.

How can you help?

  • Notify Student Services if you know a family in need
  • Make a cash donation via our donation boxes at our drop off points, or purchase a family meal while you’re grabbing your coffee at milk + honey
  • Cook or purchase a freezable ready-made family meal (such as a lasagne and garlic bread or family-size pie)
  • Double your dinner recipe one night and pop the extras in a disposable container - simply list your ingredients and any reheating instructions on the lid (no nuts please)
  • Partner your business with our P&F team

Drop off points:

  • Friendship House
  • ELC Reception
  • Horizons
