STATE LITTLE ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS

King’s students who competed. The medal winners from the Tea Tree Gully District include: Ashlynn Vandepeer (5P/J) who won Gold for High Jump; Finley Allen (6G) won Gold for the 100m race; Tom Hams (7E) won Gold in Javelin; Erin Chalmers (7D/R) won Gold in the 200m race, silver in the 100m and Bronze in Long Jump; Ryan Marshall (6C) won Silver in High Jump and Bronze in the 60m race and Hurdles and Reily Ashenden (5I) won a silver medal in discus.

SAPSASA DISTRICT SWIMMING RESULTS

Congratulations to the 16 students who represented King’s in the recent SAPSASA District Swimming Carnival, which was held at Salisbury Swimming Centre. As the result of a big effort from our swimmers, we won the Large Schools section and a number of records were broken. Final score were:

Salisbury Heights:   20

SASSSA SWIMMING RESULTS

On Tuesday, 28th February, 11 enthusiastic swimmers competed in E Grade SASSSA Swimming Carnival at SA Aquatic and Leisure Centre, Oaklands Park. Even though we had a small team, each swimmer made an excellent effort to achieve credible results. Overall Girls came 4th and the Boys came 9th.
