Sporting Achievements


Our Year 3/7 students  won the SACSA Athletics Championshipsand The Challenge Shield.

Our Year 4/7 students  won the SAPSASA District Athletics.

King’s students won the Secondary Athletics Championships and The Challenge Shield

K and T Skein were selected for the Athletics SA South Australian All Schools Team, which competed in the National All Schools Championshipsin Melbournelast December.  They also represented King’s at the SA All Schools Games last October.

N Visciglio won a Bronze Metal in the 200m and 400m races (narrowly missing out on Silver by less than .05 sec) at the Seniors State Track and Field Competition.


K Skein was selected for the Baseball SA U16 State Teamwhich competed in the National Youth Championships in Sydney in January.


Our Year 8/9 and 6/7 Boys won the SACSA Basketball Championships.

J Filmer was selected as the Round 19 Nominee for the 2015 NAB AFL Auskicker of the Year.  He was interviewed during half time at the Crows vs Richmond game in August, which was shown on Channel 7.  Jared also attended the AFL Grand Final at the MCG.  He walked in the Grand Final Parade, played on the MCG on Grand Final Day and presented a premiership medal to a premiership player.

Our Year 8/9 Boys and Year 8/9 Girls won the SACSA 9-a-side Football Championships.

Our Year 8/9 Girls won the SSSSA Touch State Championships.

Our Year 6/7 and 4/5 Boys won the SACSA Touch State Championships.


Our Year 6/7 Girls won the SACSA Netball Championships.


SASI selected C Penna for the Rowing for Gold program and T Franklin, R Slater and K Jones for the Sprint Kayaking program.  They were selected from over 7000 potential candidates in the State. They had demonstrated the right combination of physical and fitness attributes, and demonstrated the potential to succeed at an elite level in their sport. They advised that this program was designed to prepare them for elite level competition, with the ultimate aim to see them work towards selection for Australian Junior and Senior World Championshipand Olympic events.


Our Open Boys and Year 4/5 Boys won the SACSA Soccer Championships.


H Lacovino was selected for the U/12 SAPSASA State Softball team.  She plays softball for the Road Runners Softball Club at Golden Grove and is the first Northern Suburbs player to make this team in a long time.


Our Year 4/5 Boys and Open Boys won the SACSA Table Tennis Championships
