Learning

1. To make each student aware that he/she has something worthwhile to offer - for the common good of others.
2. To make him/her aware of his/her strengths, gifts, abilities and to develop a respect for others in using those strengths, gifts and abilities.
3. To help each student face disappointments and challenges in a positive way.
4. To promote and nurture the individual gifts God gives to each student.
5. To encourage growth of initiative, imagination and sensitivity.
6. To develop co-operation between and amongst individuals.
7. To emphasise not only the acquisition of skills, but the uses to which they are directed.
8. To be concerned with the growth of the mind - not just the acquisition of factual knowledge.
9. School should be a place where students are led into situations which intrigue them and stimulate their natural curiosity.
10. Education should be enjoyed learning.
11. Overall the education of a student should include:
    1. The imparting of basic knowledge and skills.
    2. The experience of associating with such cultural activities as music, craft, art and drama.
    3. The development of character and responsibility - ALL to the glory of God.
12. To stress co-operation and, where necessary, healthy competition, and to foster the development of the gifts, skills and abilities of the learner.
13. To provide an education of high academic standards.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

1. We believe in the divine inspiration of Scripture - Old and New testaments.
2. We believe in God - One, yet Three, in Persons, creator of all things.
3. We believe in the Sovereignty of the Father, the Deity and perfect humanity of the Son complete in one person and the Personality of the Holy Spirit.
4. We believe in original sin, and eternal reward and punishment.
5. We believe that Salvation is found alone through Jesus Christ.
6. We believe in the regenerative work of God the Holy Spirit.
7. We believe in the Virgin Birth, perfect life on earth, death, resurrection, ascension and second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
8. We believe in the existence of a personal Devil.
9. We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, with Christ as its Head.
10. We believe in the Great Commission.
11. We accept two sacraments:
    Believers' Baptism
    The Lord's Supper
