King's Community

The P & F Committee is a group of parent volunteers dedicated to providing a support service to the school.  Our community support network involves the provision of light catering at functions such as Induction Ceremonies, Awards Presentations, Orientations and morning / afternoon teas.

We also support the school during Open Day by running Devonshire Teas in the staff room where visitors can sit in comfortable chairs, chat with other parents and also take in the wonderful view from this area.

Parents & Friends meet several times a term to discuss any upcoming events within the school that may require our service.

We have a Prayer Partners Network which meets several times throughout the year offering prayers of support for the school community and the many activities running within the school.

A Meal Care program, relying on volunteers throughout the school who prepare a meal for families experiencing difficult times is in place for years R-2 and we are in the process of taking this through to year 5.  This is a wonderful opportunity to help someone you probably have never met and know that your generosity is helping someone in their time of need.

Our only fundraiser is the Entertainment Book around March of each year.
