Participation in the Integration unit is offered to students with an identified need to develop life skills.

Students involved in the unit attend their pastoral lessons, certain subjects, excursions and camps with their home groups and attend the unit to develop literacy, numeracy and life skills needed once they leave school.

The unit is staffed by a committed group of personnel who work effectively as a team and collaborate widely through the school to assist other school staff with the integration of the students into selected subjects.

The  Community Access Program

The Community Access Program is offered to students who are part of the Integration Unit. They visit a variety of community settings each fortnight and are then given a booklet with literacy and numeracy tasks related to the setting. The tasks are tasks which will help to equip them with the necessary literacy and numeracy skills needed for everyday situations.
