Entry into the Debating SA competition is offered to students in Years 8-12. Depending on interest, teams have been entered at Years 8, 9 and Senior Level. Participation is considered an extracurricular activity as the competition debates are held on a weeknight during school term. King’s students have been very successful in the competition over the years and the skills fostered have helped create some excellent persuasive public speakers.
